Teacher of Boys' PE

Required September 2018/January 2019

A school I work closely with is a well-established 11-18 co-educational school on the Kent and Medway borders. Having undergone a rebuild in 2007, they have modern and exceptionally well-resourced provisions. Whilst the facilities are state of the art, their ethos is founded on traditional values of hard work and discipline.

The school are looking to appoint a Teacher of Boys' PE to join a strong and supportive team committed to ensuring engaging learning experiences for the students.

You will be/have:

  • An excellent qualified teacher of PE
  • The ability to teach PE to KS3 and KS4 is essential, the ability to teach beyond GCSE is preferable
  • Have the willingness to teach Health & Social Care and/or another subject
  • Innovative in your approach to teaching
  • Ability to maintain high standards of behaviour in both classroom across the department
  • Able to achieve excellent examination results for children
  • Motivated by a desire to change lives
  • Ability to work as part of a team
