PE Teacher in Bournemouth

Job description

I am working with exceptional boys school who are looking to take on an PE teacher at the moment. A temporary role has opened up in their PE department as a member of staff has been signed off on sick leave to recover from surgery following a sports related accident.

The school is based in the heart of Bournemouth and students at the school are proactive and engaged and take part in a wide variety of sports. We are looking for sports coaches, cover supervisors and qualified teachers to help our schools with the delivery of PE lessons. The ideal candidate will be a motivating and friendly person with a good attitude. We are looking for people to excite and motivate students about sport and make sure all students are keeping active and having fun.

The role will require the successful candidate to assist with school fixtures and extracurricular events as well as teach both practical and academic lessons.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
