Active enthusiastic sportsman/women wanted in the New Forest

A school in the New Forest is searching for an enthusiastic sportsman/women to assist and support in a variety of physical activities with secondary aged pupils. The school is located in center of the New Forest and caters for 50 pupils who have been removed from mainstream school due to challenging behavior.They have recently been rated as 'Good' by Ofsted so are looking to maintain the standards and improve further. The role will involve the support in a wide range of extra curricular activities from football to kayaking.

The candidate chosen will be expected to start immediately and would start on a temporary contract with the potential for a permanent role.The candidate selected must be enthusiastic about sports participation with the aim to try and get all pupils involved. You will be expected to take the pupils out of school grounds and support in a variety of outdoor activities. The pupils have variety of different needs including ADHD, ADD, SEMH, Autism, Aspergers and Speech and Language Difficulties.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
