Teaching Personnel is currently working with a number of schools in Rugby who are recruiting Teaching Assistants. The roles will include working both in small groups, and working 1:1 with pupils as well as supporting the teacher. The school are ideally looking for people from a sporting background; where both Sports Coach's and Sports Graduates would be ideal. Experience in an education setting is not essential; however some sort of coaching experience/work with children will be needed. Experience working with children with special needs (SEN) is not essential, as long as you can demonstrate a patient and resilient personality that would be successful in that sort of environment. There are both part-time and full-time roles available, and are fantastic opportunities to gain experience.
