Teaching Personnel are seeking to recruit experienced teaching assistants to work in Pupil Referral Unit in Cardiff.

The school caters for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties (SEMH) as well as other difficulties including ADHD and Autism. This specialist provisions is looking for enthusiastic team players who enjoy a challenge. Having experience in supporting children who display challenging behaviour or have a variety of SEN is not essential but beneficial to fully flourish within this role.

A behaviour unit in Cardiff is looking for a passionate, determined an adaptable Teaching Assistant, with experience or an interest in working with students with behavioural needs in a sports environment.

So, for those applicants who have yet to work outside of mainstream education, this unique opportunity presents a chance to develop skills specific to teaching those with special educational needs. We have an established relationship with this school. The school has a real focus on providing discipline, structure and an alternative approach to education whilst supporting the young people through their GCSE's. When speaking with the Deputy Head he has stated how important it is that the right personality within this provision.

Team Teach training is advantageous for this role. However, we are shortly running a Team Teach course. All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
