Physical Education / PE Teacher required for September 2017 for an Secondary Academy in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire

  • £22,244 to £35,831 per Annum!
  • Ofsted graded ‘Good’ School in April 2016!
  • Full time role, with full responsibilities.

A Secondary Academy in the heart of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, is looking for a Teacher of PE to teach up to GCSE level inclusive of physical and theory lessons. The role will be full time from September 2017, and will involve full responsibilities including planning and preparation. There is a view that the role will become permanent for the right candidate.

The Academy has a vision to provide the highest skills for an accomplished life, through a stimulating and innovative curriculum. This is accompanied by a rich extra-curricular activity timetable, all support of maximising the potential of each student. With a view to develop and maintain behaviour management across the school, strong behaviour management skills are essential.

As the ideal Candidate for this role, you:

- You will need to have a strong knowledge and experience in teaching PE.

- Must specialise in PE, delivering to Key Stage 3 and 4, up to and including GCSE

- Will be able to provide learning in line with the UK curriculum

- Must have strong classroom management skills

- Should be keen to raise pupil attainment through a stimulating learning environment

Depending on experience and qualifications, you could earn between £22,244 to £35,831 per Annum!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
