Are you a PGCE student actively searching for your first teaching post from September?

A vibrant and highly successful Secondary School in Stamford is actively searching for the best Secondary PE NQTs. The role will start in September and will be Full Time. The school is keen to meet 'Good' or 'Outstanding' classroom practitioner, with excellent subject knowledge, who is passionate about starting and continuing their career with a talented team of educators.

Within curriculum time, activities vary from year group to year group, with pupils completing a physical education programme of studies including: athletic activities, games, gymnasium activities, dance, outdoor and adventurous activities, swimming, striking and fielding and health related fitness.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Confidence, enthusiasm and a passion for learning.
  • A relevant teaching qualification.
  • The ability to build good working relationships with children, teachers, parents and carers.
  • Experience of working with children with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly children on the Autism Spectrum is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience of working with children and the ability to manage groups of children and cope with challenging behaviour are desirable for the role.
  • The ability to promote positive behaviour in a nurturing environment.

The role:

  • Monday to Friday (08:30 - 16.30)
  • Annual salary: Competitive Market Rate
  • To start: September 2018

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
