Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Pastoral Lead for an SEN school in the Bournemouth area.

The school caters for pupils with a range of SEN needs, in particular SEMH and ADHD.

The school are recruiting for a pastoral lead. This involves working alongside teachers and support staff to manage the needs of the pupils.

You will be responsible for:

  • providing support and tutoring for pupils when necessary
  • supporting the parents
  • developing individual timetables for pupils
  • advising other staff members on needs of pupils
  • liaising with outside agencies

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Degree
  • GCSE (A*-C) English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of SEN practice
  • Understanding of National Curriculum
  • Experience within an SEN setting

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
