The position: Wellbeing Support Assistant
- Salary: Earn GBP 66-85 per day
- Location: Central Bristol
Teaching Personnel are seeking someone to support a diverse secondary school based in central Bristol. They are looking for a calm and experienced Teaching Assistant with a background knowledge on SEMH. The successful candidate will be the pastoral lead for an entire year group in KS3.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with SEMH and SEN as part of the school’s Learning Resource Base
- Listening to students concerns and resolving conflicts – tracking developments and communicating with staff and parents
- Monitoring attendance and engagement
- Working together with the Inclusion Manager and SENCO – creating bespoke learning plans
Pastoral and Mental Health Support Assistants must have the right to work within the UK and the ability to provide two references from their most recent employers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid child workforce Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
