Are you a recently qualified or experienced Year 4 teacher?

  • Part time position, initially fixed term contract
  • September 2018 start
  • Atherton, Wigan, M46
  • Salary (£22,023 - £37,496)
  • Ambitious school with excellent support network

If so an outstanding Church of England Primary School located in the Atherton area of Wigan, is currently looking to appoint a Year 4 Teacher to as part of a Job share for their Year 4 class. The school as a really supportive network of teachers that all work together in order to ensure the best possible outcomes for their pupils as well as maintaining the schools high expectations of their pupils. The role would be to start in September and for the right person could lead to a permanent contract.

In order to be successful you will need to:

  • Have a strong knowledge of the Year 4 curriculum.
  • Have a minimum of a one year experience working within year 4.
  • Be able to demonstrate good practice, ensuring that all pupils are able to make progress.
  • Be adaptable and able to meet the needs of all children in order to create an inclusive environment, in order to enable all pupils to succeed.
  • Have effective behaviour management techniques to ensure that no learning time is wasted
  • Be a good communicator and be able to work as part of a team.
