A primary school in Leeds area LS18 is currently looking for an experienced and qualified Year 3 Class Teacher. The role is a full time, long term position starting as soon as possible and lasting until the end of the academic year, with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

 As a Year 3 Class teacher you will be expected to plan, prepare and teach the KS2 National Curriculum across all abilities. You will be able to deliver engaging lessons and have excellent differentiation skills. You will have a positive approach to teaching and learning, with strong behaviour management and a proactive attitude.

What is required from you

  • QTS required (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • DBS registered with the Update Service (desirable)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3) in the last 12 months would be preferable
  • Key stage 2 experience
  • Available to start as soon as the children return back to school
  • Have at least two education based references from your most recent employer(s) which are GOOD or OUTSTANDING.
