An Ofsted graded 'GOOD' school within Burnley, who are exclusively working with Teaching Personnel have approached me in order to source a part time teacher due to a gap in staffing. The role itself would be working in a Year 2 class, 2 or 3 days per week and will be running for the whole academic year. With this in mind, we are currently looking to recruit both fully and newly qualified teaching staff that are local to the East Lancashire area, who can be expected to work effectively within the class room. In the Year 2 class you will have a full time teaching assistant who are familiar with the class and the daily routine.

The school do look to put there teaching staff on courses and CPD, so pre-booked extra days would be available. The Head Teacher has high standards for their supply staff and as a result they would want recent experience of supporting Key Stage 1, specifically Year 2. You would also be expected to contribute to the wider School community such as attending parents evening, staff meetings & INSETs. The Head Teacher is keen to meet suitable candidates and would like to arrange observations.
