An exciting opportunity has become available for a part-time teaching assistant role working in a primary SEN school with the state of the art sensory room in Enfield.

*The school caters to students with Autism and Down syndrome from KS1 to KS2*

Your role as a teaching assistant will be supporting students with Autism and Down syndrome in a KS1 class.


  • Experience working with Autism and challenging behaviour
  • Passionate for working with children with special educational needs
  • PECS, Makaton training
  • Experience working in a previous SEN setting/Youth work setting

You will be fortunate to work with an outstanding senior leadership team who look to create an engaging environment their SEN pupils.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
