Year 2 Teacher Required for Primary School, Salford.
19th April Start
Year 2 SAT’s experience desirable, not essential


Due to the planned leave of the current Year 2 teacher, our partner primary school in Salford, M5 are seeking to recruit an experienced Year 2 teacher.
-       Full time
-        Salary M1 – M6
 
Teaching Personnel are working in tandem with a 2 form Entry, “Good” Primary school  to recruit the best and most suitable Year 2 teacher for the last term. Maintaining the schools well renowned high standards and fully immersing the schools unique character and lifestyle is so imperative to being successful here.  At an important stage of the children’s education, the incoming Year 2 teacher will need to have the utmost commitment and dedication to this post, taking on full time responsibilities including, planning. marking, data entry, parents evening, continual assessments etc. In return, the management and whole school are ready to offer the successful Year 2 teacher extensive and regular support to best prepare the pupils for their SATS exams.


The school proudly serves the local community and its families. The successful year 2 teacher will be given adequate timetabled PPA time to plan alongside their other KS1 teachers and have the use of a skilled teaching assistant in class that currently takes a lead in maths and literacy intervention groups.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
