Part-Time Teaching Assistant
Cardiff
As a Part-Time Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom teachers and enhancing the learning experience for students. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about education who want to make a difference in students' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers in preparing materials and resources for lessons.
- Support students in small groups or one-on-one settings to reinforce learning concepts.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Supervise students during activities, including lunch, recess, and field trips.
- Provide administrative support, including grading assignments and organizing classroom materials.
- Collaborate with teachers to identify students' needs and help implement individualized learning plans.
- Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, students, and parents as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in student development.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- Reliable, punctual, and organized.
- A positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time hours per week.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
