Part time SEN Support needed ASAP in Guildford

A small SEN setting in Guildford are looking for 1 to 1 Support for a young adult with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, autism and mild learning difficulties.

You will be supporting the learner with practical life skills, functional skills in English and Maths, and interventions for high level anxiety, you will never be lone working as someone will always be in the building with you at all times. The setting specialise in therapy and educational services whilst putting well-being at the heart of education.

It is a calm, easy going environment perfect for someone looking to start a career within the educational sector.

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working with SEMH (preferred but not essential)
  • A confident, caring and enthusiastic personality
  • Thrives in challenging situations
  • A desire to assist children with SEN in their social, academic and all-round development

This role is part time, 3 days a week of the hours 10am-4pm
