The School
This school is an academy which has an OFSTED rating of GOOD. It is part of a larger academy trust and it has a good reputation in Britol with successful schools. Because of this, there are more opportunities than other schools can offer.
"The work of the teaching school is beginning to have a positive impact on the work of other academies. In particular, the leadership programme is helping to improve the quality of senior and middle leadership in a number of academies." OFSTED
This school is in a new building which has excellent facilities for pupils and has lots of break out areas for more specialist work. It is easy to get to by bus and car but it is unfortunately not near a train station.
Skills and Qualifications required
You MUST have QTS and UK experience. Whether you have taught in Independent schools or state school it doesn't matter and NQTs are encouraged to apply. The school is very happy to support an NQT and would welcome the enthusiasm, commitment and determination an NQT would bring.
You must have strong Maths subject knowledge. This will only be for Key Stage 3 and 4 so A-Level experience is not essential.
The school isn't known for its challenging behaviour but there are pockets of low level disruption, therefore, strong classroom management is key!

- Competitive pay - paid weekly direct from Teaching Personnel
- Progression opportunities throughout the MAT
- Refer a friend scheme
- Online timesheets, no paperwork!
