Job description

Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Teacher of English? An independent school in Plymouth are looking for a part time fully qualified Teacher of English to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 pupils. This job will start after February half term and will continue on an on-going basis. The head of department has sorted the role with pre-set work and you will be supported by the English department to deliver and mark the pupils work. The school are interviewing for this position in the first back after half term.

The successful candidate:

  • Must have QTS with an English degree
  • Will be able to commit to a part time position of 4 days, term time only
  • Will be a passionate and enthusiastic English Teacher
  • Will be able to monitor and track pupils progress and report back to the head of department
  • Will have excellent communication skills and build strong relationships with staff, pupils and parents
