Are you a fully qualified English Teacher seeking 3 days a week within a highly reputable secondary school within the heart of Dartford?

I am currently working with a school who is seeking a Part-Time teacher of English to Begin from January. All applicants must hold QTS and must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience within a secondary school.

The school is a mixed comprehensive school for 11-18 year old students of all abilities. The school are seeking a talented individual to deliver high quality English lessons consistently across KS3-KS4, and to have the capacity to deliver English at A Level in the future. The successful candidate will also be expected to provide excellent pastoral care to all students.

Additionally you must meet the following criteria:

  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Hold QTS.
  • Knowledge of the UK curriculum.
  • Possess two valid classroom based references.
  • Hold a Child Workforce Only DBS which is also registered on the Online Update Service.

The school is highly academic with excellent results, so you will be able to fully utilise your knowledge. Students come from a mixture of backgrounds, with the school catering for an above average EAL meaning all lessons need to be inclusive for all.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
