Ofsted graded good secondary school located in Trafford is currently seeking a teacher of Drama to join their faculty on a part time basis. This position will initially be until the end of summer with the potential to continue into the new academic year.
This is a mixed 11-18 secondary with a sixth form located in Altrincham and is easily accessible from the surrounding areas Salford, Stockport and Stretford.
- Part time Drama teaching position (0.4) , starting May half term (potential to start earlier)
- Work in an Ofsted graded good secondary school
- Competitive pay rates up to £160 a day dependant on experience
- Excellent senior leadership team with real CPD opportunities
The school is a smaller than average sized mixed secondary comprehensive though numbers of students on roll are increasing year on year with a great reputation, results are well above the national average. Senior leadership in school are extremely supportive and pupils respond to the high expectations of staff, behaviour is minimal and you will be teaching pupils who are keen to learn and achieve. The school has met the government's floor standards which are the minimum expectations for progress and achievement for the past 8 years and teaching and learning is a priority as the school look to continue this success.
The incoming Drama teacher will:
- Have a UK QTS specialising in Drama or similar subject
- Plan and deliver innovative and creative Drama lessons in line with the curriculum
- Have previous experience teaching Drama up to GCSE
- Assess students on their progress to ensure they are making expected progress

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
