Part-time Drama Teacher required for 'Outstanding' Secondary School!

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint an innovative and enthusiastic KS3/4 Teacher of Drama to join an 'Outstanding' average sized school in the South of Preston. You will become a valued member of the Performing Arts Department which you would be expected to get involved with extra-curricular activities and school events. You must be able to plan and deliver fun and innovative lessons and support pupils through their GCSEs.

To be considered for this role you MUST:

  • Be passionate and caring
  • Hold a Bachelor of Education in a related subject or a Bachelor's Degree in relevant subject with PGCE or other teacher qualification
  • Have experience of the UK curriculum in the related subject
  • Have exceptional subject knowledge and some instrumental/singing skills.

The role is to start 4th March and is to cover a maternity leave. The position is part-time (minimum 3 days a week) with the opportunity for hours and position to be extended.

Driving licence is desired but not essential. The school is based off a main road which has accessible Public Transport links.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
