Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Part-Time Cover Teacher for a Client School in Northumberland. The role will involve day-to-day cover - the school regularly require additional Teachers within the school to cover lessons in the absences of class Teachers. There is an opportunity for part and full-time work within this school, dependent upon your preference.
The position:
- Full time and Part time Teachers required
- Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis in lessons
- Covering lessons with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Working directly alongside the other teachers to develop activities
- Gain invaluable experience prior to starting PGCE
- Opportunity to earn between £500 and 750 per week
The school also wish to appoint Teaching Assistants with immediate effect in order to implement support in multiple departments prior to the examination period. All Teaching Assistant positions will initially be offered on a temporary basis for one term, with the opportunity to gain a fixed term contract following this.
The School is located in Amble, with over 1,400 pupils on roll, the school is significantly larger than average and due to this they are always looking for extra support on both a full and part time basis. Students are well behaved and the school prides it self on its inclusive and caring atmosphere. This combined with the SLT's continued commitment to the performing arts, sports and a wealth of extra-curriculars ensures all learners are fully supported and challenged to achieve their potential.
