Are you a dynamic P.E graduate looking to gain experience within the classroom prior to a possible teacher training course? Do you enjoy working with young people and wish to develop that into a career leading to teaching?

Our partner faith school based in Bury, Greater Manchester, are looking to appoint two PE graduate Teaching assistants, ahead of September 2018 to join their staff team. If you are passionate about sports, enjoy engaging with younger people and promoting the PE curriculum, this role may be ideal for you.

The responsibilities for the PE Teaching Assistant will include;

  • Full time PE Graduate Teaching Assistant roles, September 2018.
  • Must hold a BA in PE/Sports related qualification. Minimum criteria*
  • Additional experience delivering PE/Sports will be advantageous.
  • Assist PE department in the coaching and delivery of PE activities/Games/sports days.
  • Set up and Close up lessons/PE equipment.
  • Accompany school teams; deliver pre-planned PE lessons with full support.
  • Respect the Christian values and ethos.
  • Earn up to £1000-£1200 Per Month. Experience Dependant*

*To be considered for this role you must meet the minimum grading criteria; hold or be in the process of completing a BA (Hons) in PE or a sports related Qualification.*

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
