Year 5 Teacher, Oulton, Leeds Primary School

Spring 2 start

A two form entry Primary School in Oulton, Leeds are quickly looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher following one of their teachers leaving recently due to an upcoming relocation. The start of this role will be after February Half Term with opportunities to shadow the current teacher should it work with you too.

The Oulton School was rated 'Good' by OFSTED in 2017 with a focus to stretch the more able students in class. In particular though, the school has been commended for understanding and serving the needs of the community by alleviating the historical shortcomings of pupil's in the area and a school where value is added and progress is high. Staff morale is also high and as a Year 5 teacher you will be expected to fit seamlessly into the team.

You as the Teacher:

  • Year 5 teaching experience is highly-liked, but KS2 teaching experience is also ideal
  • Good with behaviour
  • Have an engaging teaching manner
  • The school are open to Newly Qualified (NQT) or Fully Qualified (FQT) Teachers

The headteacher of the Leeds school is seeking an energetic hardworking teacher to join their team. They are happy to see NQT's with Key Stage 2 experience and will give all the CPD and support needed. They would like to meet and observe potential teachers as soon as possible due the start date after Half Term holidays.
