Online Teacher

Job description

Primary Teachers - Happy to provide online learning

Are you looking for flexible working hours?

Are you looking for full-time/ part-time work?

Do you have access to laptop or desk-top computer?

Do you have either teaching or tuition experience?

Up until the recent school closures, supply teachers were in high demand all over the East Lancashire area. Last term, Teaching Personnel took a large number of short-term bookings covering a range of needs, these included; sickness, paternity, PPA, release time, NQT time, self-isolating and shielding. At the minute we are actively recruiting for educators who are available for this kind of cover when schools reopen however we are also currently looking for recruit educators who would be interested and available for the online learning. As the Government have stated remote and online learning for children is essential, we hope to support schools in this process during the school closures.

We anticipate this high demand for short term cover will only increase once schools are back open as usual as many schools will want to boost children/ fill the gaps as best as possible. There isn’t necessarily a teacher type we are looking for, but the best supply teachers tend to be the ones who have strong behaviour management, good flexible availability and ones who have a good strong presence in the classroom. Working on supply can be an excellent way to explore different schools and year groups across the East Lancashire area. In the meantime, if you are looking for flexible work, supporting children in primary school (EYFS/KS1/KS2) with online learning please get in touch!
