1:1 Challenging Behaviour Support

Teaching Personnel are exclusively working with a Primary School in Scarborough to find a Teaching Assistant who will be able to provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil. The pupil has particularly challenging behaviour and needs someone who will be able to support them throughout their lessons and allow them to focus to achieve their desired outcomes.

The school have highlighted that dealing with Challenging Behaviour is one of the main responsibilities of this role so those who apply should have experience of dealing with this and should be confident in supporting this. It has also been highlighted that the successful applicant will receive assistance from the EMS team and the lead teachers who have previously been providing this intense support. The ideal candidate will also have experience of working and providing support in Year 1.

The role is on a part time basis, to start as soon as possible. The role is likely to run until the end of the academic year. The school may also require the support in the new academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
