Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit numerous highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistants to work in a Special Needs School in Maidenhead.

The role requires you to work 1:1 with primary and/or secondary children with Autism. You will be delivering individualistic intervention programmes based on reward learning.

You will work in small teams, ensuring the daily needs of pupils are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun school environment. You will also be tracking the progress of each pupil daily on data sheets and reporting back to the class Teacher areas of success and areas in need of further intervention.

Some pupils may require additional support with Speech and Language. The school has an on site Speech and Language Therapist that you will work closely with to help develop pupils communication skills.

Ideally you will have experience working with children with special needs (Autism, ADHD and Behavioural Difficulties) and have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Full training will be provided, however enthusiasm, reliability, being a team player and a self starter are key skills required for the role.

The position is full time, 8.30am-16.30pm Monday to Friday.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
