Job description

The role is to work at a school which has been rated 'GOOD' by Ofsted. The school are looking for a candidate to work along side the teacher to deliver one-to-one interventions.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a client school in Abbey Hey, Manchester M18. The school is looking for a candidate who is looking to get into a full time general teaching assistant role up until the end of the academic year.


  • A pro-active, engaging and motivated personality
  • Transferable skills i.e. sports, art, and academic
  • At least 5 A-C GCSE grades
  • Experience working on a 1:1 basis with children
  • An ambition for career development
  • High expectations for all students and the determination to help all children succeed
  • The willingness to immerse themselves in all aspects of the school and extra curricular activities

This would be a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate looking for their next General Teaching Assistant position. It would be essential that the candidate would have some experience at a previous school.

There are a lot of opportunities across the South Manchester area for working with SEN Pupils in Mainstream Primary Schools on a one-to-one basis
