One to one behaviour support teaching assistant required to support a year 4 pupil with SEMH resulting in behavioural difficulties in a Salford, M7.

Are you a teaching assistant with experience in supporting pupils with behaviour problems and looking for work in a Salford primary school until summer with the strong possibility to carry on next academic year? Do you have experience of supporting challenging pupils with behavioural difficulties?

A mainstream Primary School in Salford are looking for a one to one behaviour support teaching assistant to work with a Year 4 pupil on a 1:1 basis. The pupil can become distracted very easily, disrupting the class. The pupil can become aggressive but not regularly. The Salford school are looking for an experienced teaching assistant who can support the pupil, keeping them on track in class but also being able to support outside of class.

This is a full time position to start ASAP and will be running for the rest of the academic year.

The school are looking to see candidates on a trial basis week over the next few weeks.

Experience of having worked with pupils with extremely challenging behaviour and a resilient nature is essential. Being Team Teach trained would be beneficial but not essential, but this training is available through Teaching Personnel.
