Job description

1:1 and small group Teaching Assistant Grimsby

  • Ideal candidates will have supported children with attachment difficulties
  • Experience with challenging behaviour
  • Resilient and passionate nature

We are looking for a resilient and passionate individual to work with a LAC in Grimsby. Ideally, candidates will have experience working with children with complex needs and attachment difficulties. Team Teach/PACE training is desirable but not essential. We are looking for someone who would be committed to working long term with this child, who is currently in KS1.

Successful candidates will be subject to our vetting checks, and we will need to approach your most recent child care settings for references. You must have a DBS on the update service (Child workforce only).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
