Nurture Teacher, Blackburn

Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely and exclusively with a School based in the East Lancashire area, near Blackburn. The School is smaller than average and caters specifically for KS2/3/4 pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD, ODD and challenging behaviours. The School are looking for a Teacher, to deliver a range of lessons to their Nurture group. The pupils in School can display quite difficult behaviours and therefore candidates must have strong behaviour management skills.

The School is based on the outskirts of Blackburn and the pupil currently caters for approximately 40 pupils, all male. The School are seeking a hard working, empathetic, energetic and experienced Teacher to work on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils. Ideally, the candidate will have experience teaching Nurture or SEN groups previously or as a minimum, have experience working with challenging behaviours.

The role will be full time, to start as soon as possible and candidates must be willing to work the School hours of 8.40am - 3.15pm monday - friday.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- negotiable pay rates £90 - 145 per day dependent on experience
