Teaching Assistant Early Years

Do you have experience working with children under the age of 5?

Teaching Personnel Liverpool works with highly rated schools within multiple areas. You will need to be available 5 days a week and be passionate about helping young people grow in education. Ideally, you will have experience working with children, but most importantly you will need to have a caring personality and be able to think on your feet. As a Teaching Assistant you will support pupils in the classroom, either as a general classroom assistant or specifically working on one-to-one or small group.

Candidate requirements

• Experience working with children
• Reputable references
• Willing to apply for Child Workforce DBS
• Strong classroom behaviour management skills
• Offer emotional support to children who are struggling during COVID
• Demonstrates a personal commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and rights of young people
• Implement the aims, policies and stated ethos of the school
• Inspire creativity in lessons and play
• Sense of humour, good listener, positive outlook

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
