Early Years Teacher- Bolton (BL2)

Teaching Personnel are currently working exclusively alongside a large two-form entry primary school in Bolton (BL2). During their last OFSTED report in 2016 the school was graded as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. Particularly, a strong point highlighted was the progress and achievement made by pupils. This role is to start immediately after the October half-term break covering a sick note and will be for the foreseeable future.

‘Achievement is outstanding, and attainment is above average. Pupils, including those with special educational needs and those supported by the pupil premium, make good or better progress throughout the school.’ Ofsted (2016)

Early Years Teacher - the ideal candidate

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • NQT/ECT, FQT or OTT
  • Experience working within the EYFS
  • UK eligibility to work
  • Up to date professional childcare related references (within the last 6 years)
  • Very good understanding of the EYFS curriculum 
  • An enhanced Child Only DBS disclosure on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
  • Be driven and reliable
  • Have good maths and English abilities
  • Experience working with SEN ideally

This school has around 550 pupils, with a 60-place nursery of 30 pupils in the morning and 30 in the afternoon. Experience with SEN is not essential but would be beneficial as the nursery has a population of SEN pupils with multiple learning difficulties. This position is being offered on full-times basis starting in September until the end of the academic year 2022.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
