Nursery Teacher

Slough

Teaching Personnel are supporting a local special educational needs provision in there search for a Nursery Teacher to teach pupils working at an Early Years level. All pupils have Autism and associated learning needs. The pupils have very unique sensory needs related to Autism, therefore the school requires a Teacher who has a good understanding of how these needs may effect learning and development. The teacher is required to adapt the teaching to accommodate for these needs. 

Requirements

  • Previous experience Teaching Autism and associated learning needs is desirable, and this can be in a mainstream or Special Needs School.
  • Must hold a UK QTS 
  • Good understanding of the sensory needs associated with Autism
  • Confident in planning, preparing and delivering lessons
  • Patient, resilient and genuine passion to support the progress of children with Special Educational Needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
