Reception Nursery Nurse - Pimlico
Teaching Personnel are currently working with a Primary School based close to Pimlico station (Central London) who are recruiting a Nursery Nurse to join them in Reception! This will be a varied role supporting the development of a number of key children.
The Position
Working in this 1 Form entry Primary School; your position will consist of working under the Class Teachers guidance to support the children’s learning. The role will require a level of autonomy to lead activities for the children during free play as well as supporting with carpet time with the Teacher. You will be responsible for a small group of Key Children in the class.
Hours will be 8:30-4pm on Monday to Friday and it will be a long term contract until the end of the academic year if successful. Pay will be between GBP65-GBP70 per day depending on experience.
To Be Successful
Candidates with the following are more likely to be shortlisted:
- Childhood Related Degree or Cache Level 3 Qualification
- At least 6 months experience working with children aged 4-5 in a school or Nursery environment.
- Some experience of Phonics – ideally Jolly Phonics.
- Bubbly personality and someone who is happy to go the extra mile.
- Able to commit long term until the end of the academic year.
