Nursery Nurse (S63)

Are you looking for day-to-day work or your next long-term position in the S63 area?

Teaching Personnel are working with a growing number of Nursery's and Early Years units and are therefore seeking nurturing and experienced Early Year's Practitioners to support their needs. You will deliver personal care, develop speech and language, progress IEPs, complete observations and provide recommendations for child development.

You will:

  • Support the class Teacher with Play Led Learning in and outside the classroom
  • Have an NVQ Level 2 qualification as a minimum requirement for teaching assistants or equivalent
  • Have previous Teaching Assistant experience in Foundation Stage
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team to provide an inclusive environment
  • Have the knowledge and understanding of child development
  • Have a willingness to work with families
  • Have the ability to lead activities for groups of children
  • Have good working knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
  • Ideally have experience of supporting children with additional needs
