Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit newly qualified teachers to work with a client school based in Cardiff. The class that you will be teaching will have specialist support staff mainly working with a one to one. Experience of teaching within an SEN environment is advantageous for the role. The pupils that attend the client school may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. Candidates will be asked to work between regular school times of 8:30-3:30, planning and light marking may be included. Manual Handling training is advantageous for the role, however training can be provided. We offer a competitive rate of pay ranging from £85-£100 a day based on experience.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have gained qualified teaching status
  • Have experience working with SEN
  • Manual Handling (desired))
  • Are registered with the education workforce council
  • Can confidently plan a daily routine for support staff within the classroom
  • Are either Newly Qualified Teachers (NQT's) or experienced classroom practitioners
  • Team teach trained (desirable)

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
