Maths Teacher- FQT/NQT
Contract type: Part Time
Contract term: Supply
Location: York
Are you an NQT of Maths, or a current PGCE student looking to further your experience in secondary schools and secure yourself a permanent role?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated teacher to make a substantial contribution to the further development of a good secondary school.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join the secondary school which is making substantial progress under current leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the lives of young people.
Ideally you will be:
- A committed specialist with impressive expertise and a passion for the subject
- In the process of completing a PGCE in Maths, or have completed a PGCE
- A level qualification would be preferred but is not needed
- Available to work in York as soon as March 2022
- Thrive within a team, inspiring engagement within pupils to help them succeed
- Open to General Cover work in schools
- A positive and compassionate leader, able to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- Good behaviour management
- have experience or be able to teach Ks3 and ks4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
