The Academy trust was established a few years ago and now operates under a centralised Academy with excellent progression from London. This has seen a dramatic turn around in pupil achievement, attainment, staff retention and overall moral within the school. With a new appointed Head now in place, the staff this academic year have reported they feel proud to work for this academy and the values and ethos it stands for.
The school are looking to appoint an NQT of ICT to join their existing team for the start of the 20-21 academic year. The school has a focus on high academic standards, computational thinking, social and emotional education as well as inclusivity to allow all students to succeed through a range of academic and vocational pathways.
The successful applicant will have the following:
- A certified teaching qualification or equivalent
- Ideally experienced with the UK curriculum
- The desire to provide outstanding teaching and learning
- A creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom
- Aspiration to work in an Academy trust that aims to lead from the front
- Excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills
Salary will be dependant upon experience and will be discussed upon interview and appointment.
Recently Teaching Personnel held a heads forum to discuss leaders views on recruiting NQTs for September, given vital time and experience lost to the school closures. Inevitably, they are concerned about recruiting lesser experienced NQTs however value their importance of their place in the workforce. As a NQT, you may also have some anxieties over the impact COVID-19 will have on securing your first teaching opportunity. We have partnered with the best practice network to provide NQTs free access to six online support packs & ongoing CPD and resources to ensure your development and learning is not compromised. Support packs include contains six hours of content aligned to both the Teacher Standards and Early Career Framework and are designed to support the practice of Teachers:

- Professional behaviours
You will also have access to other CPD courses including Mental Wellbeing in Children and Young People, Managing Classroom Behaviour, Mindfulness, Promoting Positive Behaviour.
