NQT/Experienced Teacher of English

Job description

We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic NQT or experienced Teacher of English with excellent communication skills to teach the full age and ability range of KS 3/4 in an extremely successful and well-resourced English department.

Key requirements include:

  • Commitment to working to a high standard to support educational excellence for our pupils.
  • Excellent organising, planning and prioritising skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to relate well to pupils, parents, staff and other professionals.
  • Good standard of literacy.

  • Ability to work constructively as part of a team.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
