English Graduate Teaching Assistant
Job description
Are you passionate about English and education? Do you have a desire to support students in their learning journey? If so, Teaching Personnel have an exciting opportunity for you as an English Specialist Teaching Assistant at a reputable secondary school in Manchester.
Throughout this role, you will earn a competitive salary between £450 and £550 per week.
This will be a full-time role with the potential for progression dependent on your own performance. This is an ideal opportunity for an English Graduate looking to start a role in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the English department in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Provide one-on-one support to students who may require additional help with their English studies.
- Help create resources and materials to enhance the learning experience.
- Support the teacher in classroom management and student supervision.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to both students and teachers.
Requirements:
- A strong command of the English language.
- Previous experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members.
- A passion for education and supporting student development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
