Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Youth Worker Teaching Assistant for a comprehensive school in Newcastle Upon Tyne. The role is temporary until Easter initially but has the possibility of being extended. You will be expected to provide extra support within the school where required.
The school is located in Newcastle Upon Tyne and currently has over 800 pupils on roll. Students are mostly well behaved and the school prides it self on its inclusive and caring atmosphere. The SLT has a continued commitment to the performing arts, sports and a wealth of extra-curriculars which ensures all learners are fully supported and challenged to achieve their potential.
An ideal candidate will have:
- Youth working qualifications
- Experience working with Children at a varied age range
- A friendly and patient approach to teaching
- Good behaviour management skills
