A “good” primary school in Hammersmith & Fulham is looking for a Music Teacher starting in September but are interviewing immediately.

I have just been into a meeting with one of the schools I have a relationship with in Hammersmith, London and they have let me know that they are recruiting an experienced Music teacher to take all of the lessons across the school. This position will be interviewing immediately for a start in September. You will work from reception up to year 6 and be in charge of running classes while following the curriculum. Their current Music teacher also runs an after school club for KS2 students and they want the new teacher to extend this to KS1 as well.

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience of teaching Music in the Primary sector.

• Be able to plan all sessions and monitor student progress according to the curriculum.

• Be comfortable teaching across EYFS to KS2 and be happy to occasionally cover other classes.

• Be happy leading the school choir and other similar groups within the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
