Music Teacher - North Manchester
Are you a fully qualified Music Teacher looking for your next full time role within the North Manchester area?
Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside one of our client secondary schools who are looking to recruit a Music teacher from Easter 2019 until the end of the academic year. Where appropriate, there is an earlier start for this exciting opportunity.
- Full time Teacher of Music from Easter 2019 or earlier for the ideal candidate
- Role until the end of the academic year (July) in the first instance
- Opportunity for more progressive role from September
- Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)
Our client 11-16 mixed comprehensive located in North Manchester, specifically the Rochdale is graded as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted and have a fantastic reputation within the local community due to years of consistently good GCSE results and a positive Progress 8 score which is above the national average. The school building which was purpose built in 2011 after a multi-million pound investment, is located just a short drive from the M62 motorway and is also ideally located near a local tram stop.

They should have the ability to build excellent relationships with adults and children and be able to work as part of our whole school team." Head of Department.
Working as a Music Teacher at our client school, candidates should be able to teach both KS3 and KS4 lessons. Pupils in Years 7, 8 & 9 receive one 60 minute lesson a week and are taught in mixed ability groups. Pupils in Years 10 & 11 receive three one hour lessons a week and follow a two year GCSE course which incorporates the three disciplines of performance, composition and listening. This role is suitable for Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs) and are encouraged to apply.
