Our client school are seeking a Science Teacher to cover a long term sickness period from ASAP until July 2023. They are looking for Science Teachers who are able to complete the full responsibility of the role or who are just happy to cover lessons with pre set work.

Not available full time? No problem, we can discuss what days you might be free. 

£150+ for standard cover

Paid to scale for full expectation of the role

Responsibilities - full expectation of the role

  • Planning and delivering high-quality science lessons to students of all abilities
  • Assessing and monitoring student progress and providing feedback to students and parents
  • Creating a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation
  • Developing and implementing effective teaching strategies and resources
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve the science curriculum
  • Participating in school events and activities
  • Maintaining accurate records of student attendance and performance

Requirements:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Living in the UK
  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field
  • Teaching certification or equivalent experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Science
  • Experience teaching science at the secondary level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
