SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Hayes 

Duration: Until the end of the academic year - possibility to go perm

Pay: £70 - £90

 

 

A vibrant and friendly SEN School based in Hayes that thrives to achieve a supportive and stimulating environment are currently recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them after Christmas until the end of the academic year!

 

Job role: 

  • Support in teacher planning and lesson delivery 
  • KS1 support across all subjects 
  • Support children 
  • Confident and shows initiative 
  • 5 days a week or part time opportunities 
  • Ability to build relationships 

Essential criteria: 

  • Flexible availability  
  • SEN experience/care work
  • Teaching Assistant, Youth work or school support background 
  • Experience working with children/young people 

Desirable criteria: Previous teaching work within an SEN school or SEN unit/provision, training in Makaton, Interactive Interaction, PECS, TEACCH, ABA or Team Teach (Team Teach training can be provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
