Music Teacher required for September 2017 - Maternity cover

An outstanding secondary school situated in North West London with excellent transport links is looking for an experienced Music Teacher to start in the September term on a 2 month contract.

The school, which is part of an academy trust, is graded as ‘Outstanding’ by OFSTED at last expectation. The school has had a remarkable transformation overseen by a passionate and forward thinking leadership team.

This exciting Music teaching role that the school is currently looking to fill will be full time, with full PPA entitlement. You will be required to teach Music up to A Level.

In line with the schools’ high expectations, they are seeking a fully qualified Music teacher (or an exceptional NQT) with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate must be able to provide detailed information on the attainment levels and exam results from previous placements. Your teaching duties will also involve working with intervention groups of 5-6 pupils.

Additionally, the school will only accept candidates who have been observed as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
