Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a Bury based secondary school to recruit a passionate full-time Music teacher from April 2019 until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

  • Full time Music teacher required for a Bury based secondary school.
  • April 2019 - until the end of the academic year, includes full responsibilities for planning and marking.
  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant experience delivering the AQA syllabus at GCSE level.
  • Applications are urged from both experienced and Newly Qualified Teachers.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £32,720 - £39,406 per annum.

Based in the heart of Bury town centre, this over-subscribed secondary school has just over 750 pupils on roll aged 11-16. The incoming Music teacher can expect to join a supportive staff team within modern facilities with access to state of the art resources.

The incoming Music teacher will be required to;

  • Deliver dynamic pupil centred teaching and learning in line with National Curriculum.
  • Plan, prepare and assess class work incorporating practical activities differentiated to learning needs of all pupils.
  • Support pupils across year 10 and 11 with the AQA syllabus within Music including practical and theoretical work.
  • Develop pupil's knowledge of composing, performing and understanding Music through inventive lessons.
