An oversubscribed faith school in the Bournemouth are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and energetic individual to join a successful, popular and well-resourced Music department to teach Music to key stage 3 and 4.
This is a temporary position from January with the option to take on a full-time contract in April 2020 for the right person. Pay is weekly and is negotiated depending on qualifications, skills and experience.
Bournemouth is a coastal town in the beautiful county of Dorset which is brimming with things to do, with a fantastic playground of beaches and miles of unspoilt countryside to explore. Film-makers, musicians, poets and writers have all been captivated and had their imaginations charged by the outstanding beauty of Dorset’s landscape and coastline. So if you’re after clear air, spectacular beaches and magnificent countryside with a vibrant events calendar and fantastic attractions, then Dorset is the place for you.
The school is over-subscribed serving Bournemouth and the surrounding area. The school was inspected by Ofsted and judged to be “good” in it's most recent inspection, including behaviour of students and leadership and management.
The music department at the school is well established and housed in the newer section of the school. Pupils use excellent facilities to help develop their creativity and practical skills.
Staff at the school are approachable, very professional and support students by providing a stimulating working environment that is both challenging and rewarding.
The school is able to support NQT's but is equally open to experienced members of staff.
The post is offered as a full time temporary contract for teaching music but with the ability to offer another subject advantageous.
