Overview of the Role
I am currently working alongside the Headteacher of a C of E Primary School in Preston PR1. The school are looking for an experienced KS1 Practitioner to teach a mixed Reception/Y1 Class from January 2018. The role will be full time covering a planned absence that will go on until Summer 2018 at least.
The Head his looking for a practitioner who is experienced in differentiating for a variety of needs in the class and preferably somebody who has taught a mixed class previously! The Head is not looking for a practicing Christian, however it is important the successful applicant understands the importance in maintaining the Christian Ethos in school.
As with all supply work, there is always the possibility of there being a permanent position for you providing you get on well in school. The Head is part of a local cluster of Headteachers who work closely together and she has assured me she DOES recommend teachers to other schools in the surrounding area.
